"I want Buckeye Nation to know that I want to play this season for Ohio State and I am working now to make that a reality," Davis wrote in a statement posted on social media.
The 2019 All-American opted out last week with the intention of declaring for the 2021 NFL Draft. He'll now be able to play in what will likely be his final collegiate campaign.
Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 315 pounds, Davis is an adept pass-protector and run-blocker. He's projected to be a first-round pick this coming April as one of the top linemen in his class.
Ohio State starting cornerback Shaun Wade also opted out of the 2020 season. It's still possible for Wade to reverse course since he has yet to hire an agent, according to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer.
