Pac-12's 10-game conference-only schedule to start Sept. 26
The Pac-12 will begin its 10-game, conference-only season Sept. 26, the conference announced Friday.
The 2020 conference title game will be hosted at the higher-seeded team's stadium instead of the Las Vegas Raiders' new home. The contest will be held in Las Vegas for 2021 and 2022. The matchup is scheduled for Dec. 18 or 19.
Each team will play five home games and five road games. The conference also said the schedule has "the flexibility if necessary to commence on a later date if the situation warrants."
The first week will be headlined by rivalry games between UCLA and USC, and Arizona and Arizona State.
It was announced earlier in July that nonconference games would be eliminated in order to give Pac-12 schools more flexibility to deal with disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The SEC announced Thursday that it will push back the start of its 10-game, conference-only schedule to Sept. 26.
