Ohio State limiting Ohio Stadium capacity at 20%
Ohio State announced Tuesday it will limit crowd sizes at Ohio Stadium to 20% of the venue's capacity.
"While no final decision has been made regarding the 2020 football season, the department of athletics has been working diligently with university leaders, public health experts, and government officials to create game-day plans that protect the health, safety, and well-being of our student-athletes, staff, faculty, and fans," the Buckeyes said in a message to ticket holders.
Ohio State also noted that fans will be required to wear face masks or coverings at home games, and they must practice physical distancing.
The Buckeyes are giving season-ticket holders the opportunity to opt out of their 2020 commitment without penalty.
The Big Ten announced a conference-only regular season for 2020, and Ryan Day's squad is scheduled to open its campaign on Sept. 26 against Rutgers.
