Clemson announced that 28 student-athletes tested positive for coronavirus in June. While the school didn't provide a breakdown by sport, 23 of those positive tests came from the football team, The Athletic's Grace Raynor reports.

The university said most of the 28 cases have been asymptomatic and no one has required hospitalization.

The athletes will be isolated for a minimum of 10 days and will have to exhibit no symptoms for the final three days. Known contacts will have to self-quarantine for at least 14 days.

Voluntary workouts began on June 8 and athletes were allowed to return to the school as early as June 1. The team has not shut down voluntary workouts after the positive cases.
