Tagovailoa to make NFL draft decision Jan. 6
Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa announced on Wednesday that he'll make a decision regarding his future on Jan. 6.
Many expect Tagovailoa to enter the 2020 NFL Draft, but he could return for his senior season after a hip injury ended his junior campaign early.
The lefty was once regarded as a potential No. 1 overall pick. Despite the severity of his injury, Tua previously said that entering the draft might be too tempting if the 21-year-old feels he'd still be a top 10 or 15 selection.
As a junior, Tagovailoa was once again among the top offensive players in the nation, completing 71.4% of his throws for 2,840 yards and 33 touchdowns against three interceptions through nine games.
A return to the Crimson Tide would instantly make Nick Saban's squad the favorite to capture next year's national championship.
