The third edition of this season's College Football Playoff Top 25 was unveiled Tuesday with few significant changes from last week's list.

The top six remained unchanged, as LSU slotted in at No. 1 for the second straight week. Ohio State, Clemson, and Georgia rounded out the top four.

Rank Team Record
1 LSU 10-0
2 Ohio State 10-0
3 Clemson 11-0
4 Georgia 9-1

Despite the injury to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, the committee still ranked Alabama just outside a playoff spot at No. 5.

Pac-12 squads Oregon and Utah present the next closest threats to the top four. If both teams win out, they'll meet in the conference championship game with a potential playoff berth on the line.

Rank Team Record
5 Alabama 9-1
6 Oregon 9-1

Oklahoma and Penn State each jumped one spot after big wins on Saturday, while Minnesota dropped two spots after losing its first game of the season to Iowa. Though outside the top six this week, both Big Ten programs aren't officially out of the playoff race yet.

The Sooners, despite topping a previously undefeated Baylor squad on the road in thrilling fashion, still placed a step behind a number of one-loss squads.

Here's how the rest of the rankings shake out:
