Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy confirmed Saturday that wide receiver Tylan Wallace suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2019 season, according to ESPN's Olivia Harlan Dekker.
Wallace injured his knee during Wednesday's practice after falling awkwardly in a non-contact situation.
The junior's absence is a significant blow to the Cowboys, who currently sit seventh in the Big 12 standings with a 2-3 conference record (5-3 overall).
Wallace is widely regarded as one of the top pass-catchers in college football. He currently ranks fourth in the FBS with 903 receiving yards on 53 receptions, adding eight touchdowns in eight games.
