Report: Missouri's Bryant avoids serious knee injury, won't miss time

Kelly Bryant reportedly avoided a serious injury after taking a scary shot to the leg during Saturday's win over Troy.

The Missouri quarterback was diagnosed with a knee sprain and is expected to fully participate in team activities this week, according to Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Bryant was hit following a throw and did not return to the game. He was later seen exiting the locker room using crutches.

The senior has completed 64.6% of his passes this season while throwing for 1,246 yards, 11 touchdowns, and three interceptions. The Tigers currently sit third in the SEC East at 3-1.

Missouri will host 3-3 Ole Miss in Week 7.
