Ohio State's Fields records 6 TDs in historic 2nd quarter
Justin Fields' blazing-hot start to the college football season turned scorching on Saturday against Miami (Ohio).
The Ohio State quarterback tossed four touchdown passes and added two more scores on the ground in the second quarter alone. With the effort, Fields became the first FBS player in the last 20 years to record six total touchdowns in a quarter.
Fields is also the first Buckeyes passer ever to account for six scores in a single frame.
The sophomore's strong arm was on full display on long passes to K.J. Hill and Binjimen Victor.

Fields' afternoon ended early as Ohio State was up 49-5 at halftime. He's now accumulated 19 touchdowns through his first four starts this season.
The game ended 76-5.
