Texas Tech will be without starting quarterback Alan Bowman for "several weeks" after the sophomore sustained a shoulder injury in Saturday's game against Arizona, the team announced.
Bowman played the entire game, completing 30 of 55 passes for 307 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in a 28-14 loss. Following the game, he ranked fourth in the FBS in passing yards with 1,020 on the season.
Junior passer Jett Duffey and senior Jackson Tyner are the likely candidates to replace Bowman for the time being.
