A Louisville cheerleader is nursing a broken nose after getting hit in the face with a football during the Cardinals' 35-17 loss to Notre Dame on Monday.

Fighting Irish quarterback Ian Book accidentally hit the woman while trying to throw the ball away.

The cheerleader tweeted after the game that her nose was "crooked," but had a sense of humor about the situation.

Overall, Book completed 14 of 23 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions.
