It appears Northwestern will be unveiling a new alternate look for the upcoming season.
Action Network's Darren Rovell uncovered a Gothic-style uniform while in the Wildcats' equipment room on Friday:

The uniform seems similar to the "Northwestern Gothic" version that the Wildcats wore for their 2014 season opener. The color scheme is a nod to the school's former colors of purple and "old" gold.

Northwestern opens its 2019 season Aug. 31 on the road against Stanford.
