Keshawn Lawrence, a 2020 four-star athlete, announced his commitment to Tennessee on Monday.
Lawrence is the ninth-ranked athlete on the ESPN 300 and the No. 97 overall prospect. He's expected to play safety for the Volunteers.
The Nashville native is staying in his home state despite fielding offers from several big-time schools, including Alabama, Clemson, Auburn, Georgia, and LSU.
Lawrence is the highest-ranked committed player in the 2020 class for Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt and the team's first top-100 recruit.
