Urban Meyer to teach leadership course at Ohio State

Urban Meyer's post-retirement plans have finally been revealed, and he will continue to be employed by Ohio State.

Meyer will co-teach a course titled "Leadership and Character" in the school's Fisher College of Business alongside United States military veteran Charles Buchanan.

"Urban Meyer brings extensive leadership experience and a unique perspective to students seeking to engage with top leaders," the Fisher College of Business said in a statement, according to ESPN's Adam Rittenberg. "The course will leverage coach Meyer's professional insights, challenges, and successes, as well as the military experiences of co-instructor Lt. Col. Charles Buchanan, to help inform students as they develop their individual leadership styles."

The 54-year-old announced earlier in December that he'll retire following Ohio State's Rose Bowl matchup against Washington on Jan. 1. Ryan Day will become the new head coach.

Meyer is also expected to take on a role in the Buckeyes' athletic department as an assistant to athletic director Gene Smith.
