The nation's No. 1 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle has officially chosen his college destination.

Five-star defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux announced his commitment to Oregon on Saturday.

The Westlake Village, Calif. native chose the Ducks over Alabama, Florida State, and Florida after receiving official offers from nearly every high-level program in the country.

Thibodeaux is a massive addition for Mario Cristobal's squad. The top-ranked prospect becomes the highest-rated Oregon commit in the history of modern recruiting rankings.

The 6-foot-5 pass-rusher is the Ducks' fifth top-100 commitment of the 2019 cycle, joining No. 1-ranked cornerback Mykael Wright.
