Boston College running back AJ Dillon is out for his team's Week 7 matchup with Louisville on Saturday due to an ankle injury, missing his second straight contest.

Dillon suffered the injury Sept. 29 in a win over Temple and missed the Eagles' loss to N.C. State last week. Reports previously indicated he'd be a game-time decision against the Cardinals.

The sophomore running back was in the midst of a productive campaign, accumulating 652 rushing yards and seven touchdowns in five games.

Following Saturday's contest, Boston College has a bye week before hosting Miami on Oct. 26.
