Report: Kelly Bryant to visit North Carolina
Rich Barnes / USA TODAY Sports

Former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant will visit North Carolina over the weekend while continuing his search for a transfer destination, sources told ESPN's Adam Rittenberg.

Bryant left the Tigers after the fourth game of the year, as he lost the starting job to freshman Trevor Lawrence. He has one season of eligibility left, and can play in 2019 as a graduate transfer.

Bryant led Clemson to the College Football Playoff last season as a first-year starter. He's easily the most attractive commodity on the transfer market.

The Calhoun Falls, S.C., native threw for 461 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in four outings this year. He tossed for 2,802 yards with 13 touchdowns and eight picks last season.

North Carolina will host Virginia Tech on Saturday.
