Georgia State only managed one touchdown in a 41-7 loss to NC State last week, and it was a costly score for the team's head coach.

Shawn Elliott said he suffered a torn right biceps while celebrating the touchdown with an aggressive fist bump, according to ESPN's Olivia Harlan Dekker. The eight-yard rushing touchdown put Georgia State up 7-0.

In the video below, Elliott is celebrating with several players, but it's unclear when exactly he suffered the injury:

Elliott will undergo surgery to repair the tear on Monday.

It's unknown if he'll be able to coach Georgia State's next game against Memphis, but fans of unabashed passion and energy will surely be hoping Elliott is on the sideline Friday.
