This college football thing might be too easy for Maryland's Jeshaun Jones.

A true freshman from Fort Myers, Fla., Jones scored touchdowns on each of his first three career touches in Saturday's season opener versus Texas.

First, Jones gashed the Longhorns' defense for a 28-yard rushing touchdown on a jet sweep to give Maryland a 7-0 lead:

A few minutes later, he caught a 65-yard score with a little taunt as he trotted into the end zone:

He capped his impressive first half with a 20-yard pass into the end zone for his third touchdown after another jet sweep:

Jones became the first freshman to score the trifecta of touchdowns since Marcus Mariota did it for Oregon in 2012, and the first player over the last 20 seasons to do it in his first career game, per ESPN Stats.
