Since Nick Saban was hired in January 2007, Alabama has routinely topped recruiting rankings, assembling an unfathomable collection of talent over the past decade.

Saban's job isn't as easy as some would presume, despite continuously boasting rosters that most coaches could only dream of. On Saturday, Saban took issue with the suggestion that Alabama could replenish players with ease when injuries occur.

"You all just think that every time something happens, we just shit another player," Saban said via Cecil Hurt of The Tuscaloosa News.

Saban announced that linebacker Chris Allen would miss the entire upcoming season due to a knee injury, prompting his comment.

Despite Allen's injury, Alabama should be in good hands with redshirt senior Christian Miller and redshirt junior Anfernee Jennings featuring at outside linebacker, and top recruit Eyabi Anoma joining a loaded pass-rushing group.
