Maryland has placed head football athletic trainer Wes Robinson and director of athletic training Steve Nordwall on administrative leave as the school reviews the circumstances of offensive lineman Jordan McNair's death, sources told ESPN's Heather Dinich and Adam Rittenberg.

Strength and conditioning coach Rick Court has apparently also been placed on paid leave on the heels of a report that Maryland's football program developed a toxic culture under Court and head coach DJ Durkin.

The school announced it had put staffers on leave Friday, but didn't identify them. Durkin reportedly told players of the move at a team meeting Friday.

Robinson and Nordwall have been at Maryland since 2006 and 2014, respectively.

McNair, 19, reportedly displayed several indicators associated with heatstroke before he collapsed during a May 29 workout. He was subsequently hospitalized and died in hospital June 13. An official cause of death has yet to be announced for the offensive lineman.

Maryland is conducting an external review of the circumstances surrounding McNair's death. The investigation is set to be completed by Sept. 15.
