Florida, Florida State, and Miami have an incredibly rich history in the sport of college football and are routinely looked at as three of the top programs in the country.

For that reason, it's easy to overlook the other schools in the Sunshine State, but UCF did its best to garner attention with a perfect season last year, including a win over SEC runner-up Auburn at the Peach Bowl.

Count McKenzie Milton as one who thinks UCF is on the same level as the Power 5 programs, as the star quarterback thinks his undefeated team was the class of the state last year.

"Look at the talent. Look at the film. They should consider us with those guys," Milton said, as per Perry Pitre of Houmatoday.com. "I think we were a better team than all three of them last year. We can compete with any of those guys. We have to keep working, keep recruiting good guys, guys who are going to buy in and stay true to what we're doing."

While some may raise concerns over UCF's schedule, there's no doubting the Knights had the most productive season last year. Both Florida and Florida State struggled to arguably their worst showings in years, combining to go 11-13 on the slate. Both schools now head to 2018 with new head coaches.

The Hurricanes did post an impressive 10-3 record, but after the Knights dismantled Auburn in the Peach Bowl, Milton has all the proof he needs to make his argument that UCF is tops in the region.
