Joey Bosa: Younger brother Nick 'light years ahead' of where I was in college
Joey Bosa is among the top young pass-rushers in the NFL, but the Los Angeles Chargers star might not even be the best defensive end in his own family.
Younger brother Nick is currently entering his third season at Joey's alma mater, Ohio State, and many draft analysts think he could be among the first names called at the 2019 NFL Draft.
Many might think Nick is constantly picking his brother's brain for tips, but Joey said that isn't the case.
"He doesn't really need any help, he's an absolute monster. I think he's light years ahead of any spot I ever got to in college," the elder Bosa said during an appearance on NFL Network's "Total Access" on Wednesday. "He hasn't had too much playing time over the last few years because of the seniors and older guys they've had there. Once he gets his full reign this year, people will understand what he's capable of. It's going to be pretty scary to watch."
The younger Bosa has 13.5 sacks and 23 tackles for loss in two years at Ohio State and has flashed signs throughout that he will be a force at the next level.
The Chargers selected Joey with the No. 3 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, and it seems as though he'd be surprised if Nick remains on the board that long in 2019.
