Tom Herman added some receiving talent over the weekend as four-star wideout Jake Smith announced his commitment to Texas.
The 6-foot, 185-pounder is the 12th-ranked receiver in the class of 2019 and the 82nd overall prospect on the ESPN 300.
The Scottsdale, Ariz. native held offers from powerhouse programs across the country, such as Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Ohio State, and USC, but opted to join Herman and the Longhorns.
Texas now has nine commits for the class of 2019, with Smith marking the sixth who is listed on the ESPN 300.
