Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm required a trip to the hospital Thursday night for a minor leg injury suffered during a fishing trip.
Fromm, an avid angler, got the treble hook on a fishing lure stuck in his left leg, according to Jordan D. Hill of the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer. The sophomore posted a photo of the hook embedded in his leg on Instagram but later took down the image.
Fromm led the Bulldogs to the national championship game last year and is expected to contend for the Heisman Trophy in 2018.
