Florida is set to meet with representatives for UCF's Scott Frost this weekend as it continues to search for a new head coach, sources told ESPN's Mark Schlabach and Edward Aschoff.
The pending meeting comes on the heels of a report that Florida has turned its attention away from trying to lure Chip Kelly to Gainesville. The current ESPN analyst and former Oregon coach was expected to choose between Florida and UCLA in the coming days.
Frost has seen his stock skyrocket this season while leading UCF to a 10-0 record thus far. The 42-year-old is expected to be a top target of Nebraska, his alma mater, if the Cornhuskers part with Mike Riley, as expected.
