Florida State's Fisher challenges heckling fan after loss to Louisville

Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher confronted a heckling Seminoles fan after Saturday's 31-28 loss to Louisville, apparently challenging the individual to hurl the insults closer to his face.

The exchange, which was confirmed by the Tallahassee Democrat's Joe Rondone, took place as Fisher was walking off the field following Florida State's third straight loss at home. The Seminoles are 0-3 at Doak Campbell Stadium for the first time since 1974, and 2-4 overall to match their worst start to a season in 40 years.

"We ain't quitting on you. Please don't quit on us," Fisher told reporters postgame in his message to Florida State fans, according to Tim Linafelt of Seminoles.com.

Saturday's loss came after Fisher attempted to ice Louisville's kicker on a game-winning field goal, but wound up giving him a second chance after he missed the first try.
