Most college coaches have a rule that players must sit in the front row during classes to help them remain engaged and focused.

On Tuesday, Penn State football coach James Franklin was checking in on his players, when he discovered three of them were sitting toward the back of the lecture hall.

“They’re supposed to be sitting up front," Franklin said on a microphone to laughs and applause, as he called out his players. "Are these three seats open? So come on down, because you’re supposed to be sitting in the front row.”

The Nittany Lions are currently in the middle of spring practice, with the annual Blue-White Game scheduled for April 22.
