Ohio State linebacker Malik Harrison won't be taking part in any of the Buckeyes remaining spring activities as he underwent shoulder surgery, head coach Urban Meyer said at a press conference Tuesday.

Meyer said he fully expects Harrison to be ready for the fall and "to compete for a starting spot" once he recovers.

Harrison appeared in five games last season and recorded 13 tackles and one sack.
