Four-star outside linebacker Dylan Rivers announced Sunday he'll attend Virginia Tech instead of Penn State, the school to which he initially committed.

Rivers is unranked on the ESPN 300, but still received a four-star rating from the network, and was sought after by notable programs such as Clemson, West Virginia, and North Carolina.

The 6-foot-2, 226-pounder out of Stephens City, Va., is the fifth four-star prospect to join the Hokies' 2017 class. He had been committed to the Nittany Lions since November 2015.
