Local Washington State Cougar fans may want to check their favorite pair of socks.
Bartell Drugs issued a recall on Dec. 27 to those who own a pair of Strideline WSU College "Cougar Socks," as "Go Dawgs" is stitched on them.
"At least some - possibly all - of our stock has 'Go Dawgs' printed on the inside cuff of the socks," Bartell Drugs said in a statement. "Customers with an affected pair may return them regardless of the wear condition of the socks for a full refund."
"Go Dawgs" is the catchphrase of rival University of Washington Huskies, something Cougar fans would not want to support.
