UCF won't acknowledge Civil ConFLiCT trophy after beating UConn

UCF still doesn't care about the Civil ConFLiCT.
That's the name UConn head coach Bob Diaco coined last year to describe the rivalry between the Huskies and Knights, if you can even call it a rivalry. UCF certainly doesn't, as the school refused to acknowledge it last year when UConn began a campaign to promote the game and introduced a trophy for the contest.
On Saturday, the Knights picked up a win over the Huskies, but still didn't want any part of the trophy.
UConn then made a desperate attempt to preserve the dignity of the prize.
Hopefully, it will never be seen again.
