With the 31st pick in the 2025 MLB Draft, the Baltimore Orioles selected Wehiwa Aloy, a shortstop out of Arkansas.

Aloy, 21, won the Golden Spikes this year and the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year, crushing 21 homers and posting a 1.107 OPS as a junior with the Razorbacks.

He's the third Arkansas player to win the Golden Spikes, joining Andrew Benintendi and Kevin Kopps.

Aloy also carried himself well in the wooden-bat Cape Cod League, hitting .309/.352/.642 with eight homers and a pair of steals over 21 games last summer.
