Wichita State forward Anton Grady was released from an Orlando hospital on Sunday and returned home on a flight with his team, according to KWCH 12 in Wichita

Grady collapsed on the court in Friday's game versus Alabama after he collided head-first with a Crimson Tide defender. He laid motionless on the court for several minutes and was taken off the floor on a stretcher. Grady was eventually diagnosed with a spinal cord concussion.

"I want to send out a big thank you to Shocker Nation and all of my friends and family for the love and encouragement that I have received the past few days," Grady said in a statement. "I've been reading your tweets and posts and appreciate every last one of them. I have a lot of work to do to get back on the court, but with the help of such a great support system, I'm ready for the challenge."

Grady was reported to have feeling in all of his extremities Friday night.
