USA Basketball whittled its roster down from 16 to 12 on Wednesday, revealing the players who will represent their country at the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship.

Player Rank (Class)
Isaiah Briscoe 13 (2015)
Jalen Brunson 16 (2015)
Jawun Evans 33 (2015)
Terrance Ferguson 14 (2016)
Harry Giles 1 (2016)
Josh Jackson 3 (2016)
Chinanu Onauku 75 (2014)
L.J. Peak 31 (2014)
Caleb Swanigan 9 (2015)
Jayson Tatum 2 (2016)
Allonzo Trier 18 (2015)
Thomas Welsh 36 (2014)

Three of the players named to the team competed as freshmen this past season - Chinanu Onauku (Louisville), L.J. Peak (Georgetown), and Thomas Welsh (UCLA). Five recently completed their senior year of high school, and four have one year of high school remaining.

Among that group of 2016 recruits are each of the top-3 prospects in the class, as ranked by ESPN.

The team will be led by Arizona head coach Sean Miller, along with assistant coaches Ed Cooley of Providence, and Dayton's Archie Miller.

"Obviously it was a hard fight to make this team because of the talent," Miller said. "The thing that we like a lot is the fact that we have eight players of the 12 that have competed and won a gold medal, several have won multiple gold medals. We have a lot of versatility in our lineup, we have players that can play more than one position and I think playing pressure basketball like we want to play defensively and offensively, that we have the depth, athleticism and quickness, and also some shooting that will really allow us to play a style that we can be successful at."

The group will continue training in Colorado Springs, Colo. through June 21. The tournament itself will be played in Heraklion, Greece from June 27 to July 6.
