Las Vegas, NV  - Arizona is back atop the Pac-12 perch.

Brandon Ashley netted 20 points and the Wildcats routed Oregon 80-52 to claim the Pac-12 Tournament championship for the first time in 13 years.

The top-seeded Wildcats won their record fifth Pac-12 Tournament championship and first since 2002. They surpassed UCLA for the most conference tournament titles in Pac-12 history.

Arizona became the first team to win both Pac-12 titles since the Bruins in 2008.

Stanley Johnson supplied 14 points and T.J. McConnell added 12 points and six assists for the Wildcats (31-3), who made their case for being a possible No. 1 seed for next week's NCAA Tournament.

Pac-12 Player of the Year Joseph Young posted 19 points and four assists for second-seeded Oregon (25-9), which was 11-1 over its last 12 games coming in since being pounded 90-56 in Tucson on Jan. 28.

The Ducks raced off to a 10-4 start before Arizona quickly seized control with a 14-0 run. Gabe York and Johnson nailed 3-pointers before Johnson capped the surge with a jumper for an 18-10 advantage midway through the opening half.

A 10-0 burst later in the frame staked the Wildcats to a 32-17 cushion and they were up 36-21 heading into the break.

Arizona cruised to the easy win over the final 20 minutes, leading by as many as 31.
