Washington parted ways with Robert Upshaw on Monday.
The 7-foot, 250-pound center was dismissed after violating team rules, reported Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
"We wish Rob well as he moves forward in his life, and we will do our best to support him in the future," said coach Lorenzo Romar.
Upshaw, a junior, led the nation in blocks per game with 4.4, adding 10.9 points and 8.2 rebounds.
The only other center listed on the Huskies' roster is junior Gilles Dierickx.
