They may still be without a top-100 recruit, but Notre Dame continued to add talented depth players to their 2015 basketball recruiting class.
Rex Pflueger, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from California, announced his commitment to the Fighting Irish program via Twitter on Thursday night:

ESPN lists Pflueger as a three-star recruit, but the 247 Sports composite is slightly more optimistic, grading him as a four-star prospect. He didn't crack either outlet's top-100 list, but he's a high-IQ player who should be able to act as a secondary ball-handler in the Notre Dame offense.
Pflueger joins small forward Matt Ryan and power forward Elijah Burns as incoming players for 2015, and ESPN grades each between a 79 and 80 out of 100. Again, these aren't splashy additions, but Notre Dame should be significantly deeper all around the floor when 2015 rolls around,
