Twin brothers Cameron, Cayden Boozer commit to Duke
Cameron and Cayden Boozer, top-25 recruits in the class of 2025, committed to Duke and head coach Jon Scheyer, the twin brothers announced Friday on Instagram.
The twins are the sons of Carlos Boozer, who played three seasons for the Blue Devils before spending 13 years in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Lakers.
Cayden and Cameron chose Duke over Miami and Florida. The Blue Devils were considered an underdog to land them before unofficial visits in August and September, according to Travis Branham of 247Sports.
The brothers both attend Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, where they've won three consecutive state championships.
Cameron is the No. 2-ranked prospect in the class, according to the 2025 ESPN 100. The 6-foot-9 power forward has a 7-foot wingspan, can dominate inside, and can shoot 3-pointers.
In three seasons at Columbus, Cameron averaged 20.7 points and 11.2 rebounds per contest.
Cayden, 6-foot-4, is the No. 17-ranked prospect and the fifth-highest-rated point guard, per ESPN. He's an elite passer with averages of 14 points, 5.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game at Columbus.
Duke is projected to have multiple picks in the upcoming NBA draft, including Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, Khaman Maluach, Tyrese Proctor, and Sion James.
