2025 5-star PG Acuff commits to Arkansas
Five-star point guard Darius Acuff will join John Calipari and Arkansas ahead of the 2025-26 season, he announced Friday, according to ON3's Joe Tipton.
Acuff is listed as the No. 10 overall recruit and the No. 2 point guard on ESPN's 2025 prospect rankings. He's the first five-star player in his class to commit to a program.
The 6-foot-1 floor general out of IMG Academy chose the Razorbacks over Kansas and Michigan.
Acuff is Calipari's first 2025 recruit at Arkansas. This upcoming season will be the legendary coach's first in Fayetteville after bouncing over from SEC rival Kentucky.
Calipari has been responsible for helping develop successful point guards throughout his career, including Derrick Rose, John Wall, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Devin Booker, Jamal Murray, and recent lottery picks Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham.
