Kansas State coach Jerome Tang indicated Nae'Qwan Tomlin may not play in 2023-24, saying he's treating the senior's indefinite suspension like a season-ending injury.

"If he comes back, it's an added bonus," Tang told CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.

Kansas State suspended Tomlin on Monday after the 6-foot-10 forward was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Tomlin, who averaged 10.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and one block last season, was instrumental in helping Kansas State reach the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. He was also the only returning player to average double-digit points last season, as Markquis Nowell and Keyontae Johnson moved on to the NBA.

Kansas State's season tips off Nov. 6 against No. 21 USC.
