Purdue star Jaden Ivey will forgo his remaining NCAA eligibility and enter the 2022 NBA Draft, the sophomore announced Thursday.
The 6-foot-4 guard is projected to be a high lottery pick.
Ivey averaged 17.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. He also registered 53.1% shooting on twos, 35.8% on threes, and 74.4% from the free-throw line as a sophomore.
For his efforts, the 6-foot-4 guard was voted a consensus second-team All-American and a first-team member of the All-Big Ten squad.
With Ivey as the motor behind the Boilermakers' offense, Purdue advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of this year's NCAA Tournament. However, the team was the third and final upset by Cinderella program Saint Peter's. Ivey had nine points on 4-of-12 shooting in his final collegiate appearance.
