Forget the "Drake Curse" - Saint Peter's may have to worry about a potential New York Jets curse ending its Cinderella run.

Ahead of No. 15 Saint Peter's Sweet 16 matchup against No. 3 Purdue on Friday, the Jets took to Twitter to wish the Jersey City, New Jersey-based school good luck.

The Jets' message didn't go over well with some fans, who accused the team of cursing the Peacocks.

Saint Peter's stunned No. 2 Kentucky in the first round of the men's NCAA basketball tournament and went on to defeat No. 7 Murray State, becoming just the third No. 15 seed to advance to the Sweet 16.

New York is coming off a 2021 campaign that saw the team finish with an AFC East-worst record of 4-13 and miss out on the playoffs for the 11th consecutive season.
