Baylor-West Virginia pushed back as Big 12 revises schedule
Thursday's scheduled Big 12 battle between No. 2 Baylor and No. 10 West Virginia has been pushed back to March 2, the conference announced Tuesday.
Baylor was originally scheduled to host the game, but now the contest will move to West Virginia. The matchup will be a makeup of the postponed Jan. 12 clash between the two teams.
The schedule changes are the result of health and safety concerns stemming from too many games being slated for just prior to the Big 12 conference tournament, according to CBS Sports' Matt Norlander.
The tournament is scheduled to run March 10-13 in Kansas City.
Baylor will also host No. 15 Texas Tech on March 7, a makeup date after the postponed Feb. 13 game.
The Bears play Iowa State on Tuesday, their first contest since Feb. 2.
