Vermont guard Stef Smith has declared for the 2020 NBA Draft, sources told CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein on Monday.
Smith will leave himself the option to return to college for his senior season, Rothstein adds.
The native of Ajax, Ontario, enjoyed a strong junior season for the Catamounts en route to earning American East All-Conference first-team honors. Smith averaged 14.2 points, 2.6 assists, and 2.8 rebounds across 33 games in 2019-20 while shooting a conference-best 42.3% from 3-point range.
Vermont led the American East with a 26-7 record this past season, including a 14-2 mark in conference play.
