Houston's magical season isn't over yet.

The Cougars advanced to the Sweet 16 for the first time since losing the title contest in 1984, as they beat No. 11 Ohio State 74-59 on Sunday.

Senior guard Corey Davis Jr. led the way for third-seeded Houston, scoring a game-high 21 points to go along with six boards, three steals, and a pair of assists.

The win elevated the squad to a school-best 33 wins on the season, topping the previous record of 32 set in 1983-84. It also made head coach Kelvin Sampson a little richer; by advancing to the Sweet 16, the 63-year-old met the criteria for a $100,000 performance bonus, according to USA TODAY Sports' Steve Berkowitz.
