Report: LiAngelo plans to work out for teams after draft-combine snub
LiAngelo Ball is not going to let a snub prevent him from chasing his NBA dream.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard wasn't on the list of 69 players who will participate in the 2018 NBA Draft Combine in Chicago from May 16-20, but he plans to work out for NBA teams ahead of June 21's draft, a source told Lonzo Wire's Josh Martin.
Ball, 19, will reportedly take part in the Pro Basketball Combine at the IMG Academy later in May. The freshman left UCLA after a shoplifting scandal in China and went to Lithuania to suit up for BC Vytautas with younger brother LaMelo.
LiAngelo registered 12.9 points and 3.1 rebounds over 15 games with Vytautas, and was reportedly scouted by the Los Angeles Lakers.
His older brother Lonzo also skipped the draft combine last year, though he did so by choice before the Lakers selected him second overall.
