Five days ago, Syracuse lost in the opening round of the ACC tournament in Brooklyn, N.Y., prompting a very surly Jim Boeheim to make some odd comments in the postgame press conference.

Instead of focusing on his team's loss, Boeheim praised the decision to hold the tournament in Brooklyn instead of Greensboro, N.C., claiming there was "no value to playing in Greensboro."

That led to a very sharp comeback from the city's official Twitter account.

Well, it appears the NIT selection committee took notice because the top-ranked Orange will host UNC-Greensboro in their opening-round matchup at the Carrier Dome.

Unfortunately, the game won't be played in North Carolina, but you can be sure Greensboro's Twitter account will produce some funny commentary during the game.
