Richmond forward Grant Golden collapsed near the Spiders' bench Saturday during a game against Texas Tech.
Golden fell twice on the court before eventually collapsing at the bench, according to Mitch Carr of 8News Richmond. The freshman was taken from the court on a stretcher and was alert and responsive.

Golden was taken to a local hospital shortly thereafter for further evaluation. Tests showed nothing definitive, a team spokesperson told Jeff Goodman of ESPN, and Golden will stay at the hospital overnight for monitoring purposes.
"He's in good spirits," the representative said.
