After two seasons with Oklahoma State, Joe Burton has elected to take his talents to Valparaiso.

As a sophomore for the Cowboys last season, Burton averaged 4.7 points and 1.4 rebounds in 12.3 minutes, seeing action in 30 games. Burton also shot 39.7 percent from 3-point range, ranking fifth in 3-point percentage by a sophomore in Oklahoma State history.

Burton is a former four-star recruit out of Humble, Texas who was ranked 59th on the ESPN 100 for the class of 2014. He will be forced to sit out this coming season due to NCAA transfer regulations.
